My recent stay at 1 Balnakeil, Kirk Road was wonderful! The house was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, making it a very comfortable and inviting place to stay. The host, Sarah, was attentive and had thought of every little detail to make our stay enjoyable, from homemade jams and shortbread to providing essential kitchen and bathroom supplies. The bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds, and the showers were amazing. I especially loved the log burner, which added a cozy touch to the house. Despite a few minor issues mentioned in other reviews, such as low slung sofas and a tight shower cabinet for tall people, they did not take away from the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay. I would definitely book this hotel again, as it exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend 1 Balnakeil, Kirk Road for a comfortable stay.

Some noise from the surrounding area was disruptive to the peaceful atmosphere. The water temperature in the shower was not consistently hot, and there were issues with the functionality of certain amenities in the house.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this cozy holiday home. The hosts were attentive and left lovely extras like shortbread and tablet, which added a festive touch to our stay. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to beautiful hiking trails and a convenient bus stop nearby. The well-appointed kitchen was spacious, allowing us to prepare delicious meals together.
The lack of blackout blinds, which made the bedrooms quite warm during our stay. the sofas were not very comfortable, and we found them a bit outdated.
